PASSPORT AND VISA

To visit Japan, you must have a valid passport.
A visa is required for the citizens of countries that do not have visa-exempt agreements with Japan.

*In order to receive the visa acquisition support service by the Secretariat, your registration and payment must be completed in advance. As we will be receiving many requests towards the conference term, please contact us at your earliest convenience if in need of our assistance.

Visa acquisition process is time consuming. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get the necessary paperwork completed in time for your departure.

CANCELLATION

In case of cancellation, please send a written notification of cancellation to the Registration Office as early as possible. Refund will be made after the following cancellation fee and bank transfer fee are deducted. However, if you are the author of the papers listed on the conference proceedings, your registration fee will not be refunded. All refunds will be made after the Conference.

When written notice of cancellation received:

Until October 31, 2011 :

25% of the registration fee plus bank handling charge

From November 1, 2011 :

100% of the registration fee (No refund)
